I’ve always had a restless desire to make a difference. After a short-term
mission trip to LA in college, this desire became focused on working with the
needy in Whatcom County. God gave me the opportunity to set up and run a
community soup kitchen while finishing my Sociology degree at WWU. Since then,
I’ve had various volunteer and work experiences helping people in need. My
desire at Northlake is to connect the church with the needs of people within
our congregation and community, and through this spread Christ’s love to them.
